Description
The Titan uses a very special stacking lithium-ion battery pack. This battery pack is equal in the capacity as the base battery at 2,000wh. Each battery simply stacks on each other so the footprint of the Titan stays the same, it grows vertically.
Once a second battery is added to the Titan it unlocks the ability of the solar charge capacity. The max solar input with 1 battery goes from 1,000wh to 2,000wh when a second battery is added. For 2+ batteries attached to the Titan it can input a max of 2,000wh in panel charge.
This 24v battery has no limit as to how many can be stacked together. Keep in mind there is an average of 5 hours a day that maximum solar energy can be made on clear days.
Example: Solar panel capacity = 1,000w. 5hrs x 1,000w = 5,000wh of power produced daily. This means if you have 4 batteries total (8,000wh) that it will not be able to charge from 0% to 100% in a single day. Add another 1,000w in solar panels for a total of 2,000w and in just four hours it will have made 8,000wh of battery power.
The battery is very easy to stack on top of another battery due to its universal connectors. There’s no way to stack it incorrectly. The battery can be turned 180 degrees and will still plugin just fine without damaging anything. This takes away any user error and increases safety for users.
This special stacking method can also be stacked horizontally if needed. It is not required to stack the batteries vertically. Special cables can be purchased to allow a secondary battery or even the main battery to be placed in a different location. This makes it easier for some RV and Van users to have the battery in one location and the inverter in another.
Note: The solar panels, cables, and extra accessories are not sourced from Point Zero Energy directly. The Titan, Titan batteries, panel adapters, and other small accessories are sourced from Point Zero Energy.

The Titan battery system is the heart of our emergency planning systems. We purchased the basic system last year with a single battery, added a second this year and will add a third next year. From there we will add solar arrays. We have had several power outages in the mean time, and were very pleased with the Titan's ability to keep our household on an even keel given the volatility of two teenage girls . All computers stayed charged, no food spoilage, ample light, and power for gas fired heating ignition.
Expand your Titan's potential. By adding this I am able to power a portable air conditioner (heat/cool) and lighting in the shop all day! No issues for 12 months now.
The Titan battery is far easier to use than any other extra battery. When I first looked at the Titan I didn't realize that the top half separated from the bottom half which is the battery. I loved the easy setup of my Titan with my extra battery. Ben's initial setup video was very helpful for that. There are no cables, no plugs or anything, the second battery just stacks on top of the first battery and it's done.
I got 2 extra batteries with my kit. They are a little heavy but with all the handles on each battery, it's not too bad moving it around. I like that it's rated to 2,000wh even though it has a higher capacity.
